Numa’s Super Jaws Overburden Bits are purpose-built for simultaneous drilling and casing in challenging overburden conditions. The system’s extendable wings open during drilling to create a full-diameter bore, delivering exceptional stability and preventing hole collapse.

Once the target depth is reached, the wings retract seamlessly, allowing all tooling to be withdrawn while leaving the casing securely installed — a clean, efficient solution for complex ground profiles.

T455 ND System – Rail Bridge Foundation Work

We deployed the T455 ND system to install permanent heavy-walled casings to a depth of 15 meters, followed by precision drilling of 450mm diameter rock sockets. These piles were engineered to provide robust support for a new rail bridge, ensuring long-term stability and load-bearing capacity.

With the piling works now successfully completed, our team is in the process of demobilising from site, marking the conclusion of another technically demanding and safety-critical phase delivered to the highest standards.
